You spoke…we listened…Hotel Renovation is finished!!!

Canaves Oia Hotel went through a major renovation during the winter of 2013. Rooms have been reconstructed to modern accommodation of highest standards. Brand new Jacuzzi and plunge pools have been added to all categories starting with the Superior Suites.

The rooms’ refurbishment started in the winter of 2011 when the ownership of the hotel decided the reconstruction of all Canaves Oia section.

It was quite a difficult task managing construction of all modern accommodation and at the same time respecting the Cycladic architecture and the traditional characteristics of the island.
In a couple of months’ time the so called “older” section of the hotel was rebuilt from scratch adding up 3 new suites in its capacity. All 17 rooms are now white colored with a touch of sand color and a piece of antique furniture to remind us of our Santorinian roots.

The renovation of Canaves Oia Suites section was implemented within the winter of 2012 and 2013. The hotel now offers 19 suites with brand new Jacuzzis and plunge pools overlooking the amazing Caldera and the Volcano. With the elevator providing now access to all four levels of Canaves Oia Suites, from the front desk and all the way to the pool area, steps are no longer needed!

The hotel renovated the dining areas, offering now Greek Mediterranean cuisine in the “Pool Side Restaurant”, a Gourmet – 3 tables only – Experience at “Petra Gourmet Restaurant” and ceremonial wine tasting in its atmospheric “Cellar”.
