The Biennale of Santorini was first conceived by Kikos Papadopoulos in 2003, but took place in 2012 for the first time, and has become one of the most inspiring events on the island ever since. In 2014, the theme of the event is the “Peace Mechanisms”, where the creators will try to represent how people can all live together in peace, how they can understand each other as well as they will artistically contribute to the dialogue about the harmony that the acceptance of differences induces.

The Santorini Biennale will take place between July 5th, 2014 and October 5th, 2014, and along with the exhibition there will be artists’ events and workshops.
